NORWICH V LUTON 06.3.21
So looking at the match Norwich are like 10 points clear of 2nd so obviously we are massive underdogs (like always). But both teams are on form. Since we’ve changed our typical starting line up we have picked up 7 points of a possible 9. So I’m not going to write us off yet. But Carrow road has been a very hard place to win at this season so then again, the three points will be very hard for us to get. Looking at the previous game us and Norwich played in, we did win 3-1, but it was probably our best performance all season and for us to replicate that result, would be much harder this time. Also Norwich had players missing due to injury’s, therefore it makes the odds even more against us...
We are both coming off 1-0 wins against side who were in a similar run of form. So I think the game will be exciting as both teams (I think) will go for it. Realistically I’m saying a 2-1 loss to Norwich as they look quality and I just can’t see us getting anything out of this fixture.
I feel like there will be no changes from the last 2 weeks, Todd Cantwell is close to recovering but probably wont play against Luton, with emi in great form and Ben Gibson is now back that is good for us. Going into this game in good form and beating one of the better teams in the league, Brentford. Our confidence will he very high, Onel Hernandez has been great for the replacement of todd. Luton town will also be confident with their 2 previous wins over Sheffield Wednesday and Nottingham Forest. Being 10 points clear is good for us as we wont have much pressure to win so we could afford to lose but 3 points would be great for us.
I believe today’s match will be an easy win, Norwich may be one of the best teams in the league but the way we have been playing recently we have been really good, I think it will be a breeze. Emi has been on form and has been playing well however Pukki needs to sharpen up. Tim krul has been legendary in between the sticks rupp had been playij well and I think everyone in the team has been really good and that’s pushing them more because of how good they are playing !
