The mighty U’s are at home today as we take on Southend United who haven’t been on good form.
It’s never as easy as you think to face bottom of the table, but the U’s will be looking to bounce back after an embarrassing 4-1 defeat away at Salford City in the midweek. No one was on it that game, we will need a massive improvement to in order to avoid another bad result here.
Digby and Hoolahan should both be back in the squad for the U’s which will boost our confidence coming into this one. Hoolahan in particular will be welcomed back with open arms, the experienced midfielder is still a class act at this level even at 38.
As we are looking to stay at the top of the League Two table we should bounce back and get a good result in this one.
