TOTTENHAM v LEEDS: Premier League team news and preview

Leeds head to Tottenham in the early kick off on Saturday afternoon where Jose Mourinho will be looking for a big response from his Spurs side who haven't won in the league for 5 games since beating rivals Arsenal in early December. Leeds will be looking to continue their fine form having won 3 of their last 4 games, playing some eye catching, attacking football in the process. They have come a long way since their annual meltdown and inevitable defeat at The Den when they used to play my side Millwall in the Championship... But do you know what, Fair play to them. Even as a Millwall fan I have to admit I enjoy watching Leeds and the Premier League is more eventful with them in it, just as it would be if my lot were to ever get there, or the likes of Portsmouth ever return. Hopefully Saturday will be another exciting game to watch, as most of Jimmy Saville's boyhood club's games have been this season. Jose loves to park the bus, but he will have to show some attacking intent with Spurs desperate for a win as Man Utd and Liverpool get further away from them in the table.

Now then, to the info.

KICK OFF TIME:

12:30pm at White Hart Lane, Live on BT sport (BT sport 1 + Ultimate)

TEAM NEWS:

Jose Mourinho expects Lucas Moura and Carlos Vinicius to be available after both players missed the last game with Wolves. Gareth Bale and Giovani Lo Celso are still out.

Diego Llorente and Liam Cooper will be hoping to return to the Leeds squad following injury

PREDICTION:

I really fancy Leeds to give another good account of themselves going forward. I do fear though for them defensively, where they have come up short against the better sides in the league this season. Letting in 6 at Old Trafford being the main thing in my mind, and how open they were early in the season VS Arsenal. If they can start getting it right at the back against the better sides, things will improve in these games for Bielsa's men.

Spurs are lethal going forward and if Leeds do not take caution and just continue to be their usual exciting but kamikaze selves, then i can see Harry Kane having an enjoyable day. I think the home side will turn around their poor recent form and get the result in this one but it will be close.
