Leeds United enter the January transfer window in an intriguing position. A wily Tottenham Hotspur team may have dismantled them at the weekend, but Marcelo Bielsa's side are currently closer to the top of the table than the relegation zone.
Injuries have caused Leeds issues this season, and they could look to address certain positions this January as a result. We have an update on one potential target here.
Young Chelsea defender Fikayo Tomori has been strongly linked with a loan exit this month. He has made just one league appearance so far this season thanks to the arrival of Thiago Silva and improvement of Kurt Zouma and could depart in search of regular playing time.
Leeds have also been mentioned alongside Juventus as interested parties in young Manchester City prospect Luke Mbete.
The 17-year-old made the bench in City's win over Chelsea at the weekend and is highly regarded by Pep Guardiola and the staff at the club.
And The Athletic reports that both Leeds and Juventus are monitoring the teenager's progress at City, with an eye to potentially making a move in the near future.
Leeds have shifted gears in the transfer market recently, signing a myriad of teenage stars in the hope of developing them further in house. Mbete would be another such signing.
Would this be a signing that excites you Leeds fans?
